Mr. Popper’s Penguins Teaser Trailer

I have this problem. No matter what Jim Carrey makes, I’ll pay to see it. Even if it’s a movie featuring him dancing with some penguins to “Ice Ice Baby” by Vanilla Ice.

Earlier this year, Mr. Popper’s Penguins was announced and a few production stills were introduced. The average naysayer will shake their head and say, “It’s just Jim Carrey with some penguins”. True. But the fact of the matter is that a movie where Jim Carrey stands in front of a camera and makes faces for two hours would still sell tickets. The story revolves around the patriarch of the Popper family, a painter who inherits twelve penguins. Director Mark Waters take on it will see a business man (Carrey) and the SIX penguins he inherits. Will it win an Oscar? No. Will it take ten bucks directly out of my pocket? Yes.
