Soul Surfer is the story of professional surfer Bethany Hamilton and her improbable return to competitive surfing after she lost her arm in a shark attack at age 13.
The trailer is actually more of a teaser than anything and doesn’t really get into the heart of the story. Rather, it just presents itself as some sort of a film about a surfing girl who has some kind of issue. We expect the full trailer to get into more detail about Bethany’s tiger shark attack, but for now, we give you both the teaser and the the NBC News report on the Bethany Hamilton’s story.

I hope they don’t bring too much negative light on sharks and focus on her story more! Well I love the story, I mean Hamilton’s story is incredible. I would be terrified to go back into the water but she is brave. I love the cast: Quaid, Robb, Hunt. But the trailer was nothing but some screen shots that told us nothing. I was hoping for a better look at the acting and such. I didn’t care for the trailer but who knows, maybe it will turn out as a decent inspirational movie.
