Wonder Woman series coming to NBC

Wonder Woman had to come back from the dead on this one.

After a go-around at every major network, including NBC twice, David E. Kelley’s Wonder Woman pilot finally found a home today. Earlier this month, NBC had passed on the project entirely, making them the last network to say “no” to Wonder Woman. That was seemingly the final nail in the coffin for the series. That is, until Comcast began their recent takeover with Robert Greenblatt taking over as head of programming only a few days ago. With that one move, Wonder Woman was suddenly brought back to life and picked up.

The questions that quickly arise are expected ones. Will this be a serious or even dark adaptation of the Wonder Woman character? Will it be light-hearted and campy? Who will play Wonder Woman? Are they going for a big name or an unknown entity?

Questions will become answers.
